About Our Community

Welcome to the Triumph of the Cross community page! We are Christians from various churches, ethnicities, and walks of life, living in fellowship together as a community of disciples on mission.

While we remain active, faithful members of our home churches and parishes in a variety of Christian traditions, we believe that God has called us together to share our lives in a special way and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as a sign of God’s desire for Christian unity.

Triumph of The Cross (TCC) is an ecumenical, charismatic community of Christians living in the DC metro area. Our members live in Frederick, Columbia, and College Park, Maryland. We are united by our love for Jesus Christ and our desire to worship Him together. We support one another in our Christian walk through our men’s and women’s groups.

2024 Community Focus

As we go into 2024, our community looks to answer the Lord's call to expand our tent pegs while looking for new ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus. A large part of our focus is on investing in our young adult outreach, which has been instrumental in reaching new people in our community and inviting them into a shared life in our covenant community.

We also are called to further diving into our ecumenical call, and finding ways to create an environment that Catholics, protestants, and orthodox brothers and sisters can feel supported by. This includes using ecumenically sensitive meeting spaces and working to have a diverse denominational background in our leadership.
