Ecumenism Resources
What Is Ecumenism?
Ecumenism refers to efforts by Christians of different traditions to develop closer relationships and better understandings, ultimately seeking unity among churches. Below are curated supportive resources on ecumenism – including videos, articles, books, and podcasts – each taking a constructive view of Christian unity or helping to explain, sometimes in simplistic or overly-simplistic terms, what a certain Christian denomination may believe or how a faith tradition originated or has developed.
Additionally, there are links to help understand what some churches teach on the subjects of Charismatics, Covenant Communities, and Ecumenism. Even knowing what our specific faith teaches on these matters will help us all see how much we really have in common.
Each resource is listed with its title, source, a brief summary, and a link for easy access.
